Casa Nina was completely renovated from autumn 2023 to spring 2024 and offers approx. 85 sqm with a living room, adjoining open kitchen and two cosy bedrooms with enough space for a relaxing holiday.
There is a spacious wardrobe in the entrance area, where you can also leave your beach bags. The large dining table in the living room provides space for everyone to enjoy meals together and there is also a small sofa and, of course, a TV with German and Portuguese channels. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped, including a coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The living room leads out onto the small balcony, to which one of the bedrooms also has access. Chairs and small tables are available here, where you can enjoy the marvellous view of the beach and sea over your morning coffee or tea.
Both bedrooms have a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and beds. The bedroom with sea view has a queen-sized bed (130 x 180 cm). In the second bedroom there are two single beds (100 x 200 cm) which can be used separately or put together as you wish.
The bathroom has a window, a spacious shower and a vanity unit where you can store your daily toiletries.
The special feature of Casa Nina is the magnificent roof top terrace, which offers a unique view over Salema, the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Sheltered from the wind, it is a wonderful retreat where you can enjoy the sun and the view undisturbed from prying eyes. There is a seating area under the shady pergola and two sun loungers.
As Casa Nina is also equipped with natural stone heating, regulated via thermostat, the flat is also a cosy place to stay in the winter months.
All of the following is included in the price: Internet access via WIFI, bed linen and bath towels are changed weekly, a private car park, heating and final cleaning. If you require a cot with bedding and bed linen and a high chair for kids, we are happy to provide these free of charge.

A perfect holiday apartment in a prime location
This May marked our fourth visit to Salema, our third stay at Casa Nina, and our first since its renovation and thorough modernization. The new furnishings are outstanding in both selection and quality, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and we felt completely at ease. The couple’s exceptional friendliness and constant helpfulness certainly contributed to this, creating a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere. And, of course, the location in Salema is unbeatable, which we thoroughly enjoyed both on the balcony and the rooftop terrace.

Casa Nina was just wonderful experience! The apartment is very clean and nice. Great fully equipped kitchen, nice bedrooms and bathroom. The views from the balcony are roof terrace are just amazing! Great accommodation
This is a fantastic accommodation with a fantastic roof terrace. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the beach, in the beautiful, old fishing village part of Salema. The house is perfect for 4 people, has very comfortable beds, a great bathroom, and an incredibly well-equipped kitchen. We truly didn’;t lack anything! We’ve rarely experienced anything like it. The hosts were very warm and accommodating. We were allowed to check into the house early and were able to leave our car in the parking lot on the day of departure. We absolutely enjoyed our time and would come back anytime. We’ll be dreaming about the roof terrace for a long time to come.
Relaxation in a beautiful house
Casa Nina is wonderful. Just like the photos. What we really liked is that you can sit on the balcony or roof terrace for a long time in the evening without any mosquitoes! Wonderful. It’s also possible to sleep with the patio doors open at night without any mosquitoes. It’s truly relaxing. We were there in July/August. The sea is nearby, and the restaurants are also just a few minutes’ walk away. The hosts, Marion and Rui, are a well-coordinated team. For us, it was one of the best vacations.
Pure Salema!
Is there anything better than “perfect”? After we already loved Casa Carvalho, this house was even better: a spacious apartment, a perfectly equipped kitchen, clean, well-maintained, and quiet…the roof terrace is a dream: sheltered from the wind and (if you want) from the sun, you can hear and smell the sea—even on windy evenings: the renovators worked with both brains and heart.
The hosts are uncomplicated and very helpful, and the small pedestrian path behind the house is quiet…no bar, no drunken young bulls: a hint of 90s Salema wafts by: I’m already looking forward to the next time! Pure!
