I am happy to write a review for this beautiful house, although unfortunately my stay was 5 years ago.

There were four of us in the fisherman’s cottage in June and everything was there for a perfect family holiday.

The location right by the sea made it possible to swim a lap in the morning before breakfast, at noon you could retreat from the beach to eat and sleep relaxed in your own four walls and in the evening the terrace offered us adults a great sea view with a glass of red wine and the sons relaxed Hours before the German TV program.

The kitchen was perfectly equipped, the storage area proved valuable and the bathroom was large enough.

The place offers everything you could wish for: great restaurants and a nice bar, grocery stores and bus connections.

We were only traveling with a backpack and you didn’t miss a car either. There is also a car rental service on site.

I would very much like to go there again and I hope there will be an opportunity soon!

My husband and I stayed in October 2016 and again in October 2017 for 2 weeks in the cozy and very tastefully furnished holiday home with a wonderful terrace with a fantastic view of the sea.

The lovingly renovated fisherman’s house fully corresponds to the description, it is very well equipped and absolutely clean. Celia takes great care of the guests on site and can be reached by telephone (English) in an emergency.

Contact with the landlady, Ms. Carvalho, is extremely friendly and personal.

If we didn’t want to see a little more of the world, we would love to spend our vacation in the house in Salema more often a year. But we have definitely already reserved another 2 weeks for next October and are already looking forward to it.

We were there, three people, at the end of August / beginning of September 2017. The house is indeed in a fantastic location with a beautiful sea view. the house is very clean and has a pleasant layout. The kitchen is big and we really enjoyed cooking there. Sitting on the terrace in the evening and enjoying the view of the Atlantic with a glass of wine is indescribably beautiful. The facility is ideal, especially very clean.

the village is not overcrowded and therefore it is fun to go for a walk on the beach.

It was a very pleasant holiday.

We were a family of 3 with puppies in December 2012 over New Year’s Eve in this dreamlike accommodation.

The cottage is very well maintained and is located directly on Salema Beach. Our son and his dog really enjoyed the morning walk to the beach when it was 20 degrees in December, it’s one of the fondest memories we share as a family. The landlords are very friendly and we can recommend this beautiful little fisherman’s cottage without exception and hope to be able to spend a few wonderful days there again soon.

The three of us spent nine days in this beautiful house. Two years ago we had been to Salema and rented one of these houses on the hill across from the bay. This time we were very happy, excited and glad to have found this beautiful house by the sea. It is tastefully furnished with a lot of love and a sense of tradition. The old fisherman’s cottage has been converted with great skill and although the cottage is very small it is airy and not cramped. The kitchen is well equipped and you can really cook like “at home” – after all, you have this dreamlike terrace!

We were well looked after in advance by Mrs. Carvalho and on site by Celia. We will come back for sure!

We like to write this evaluation of our past stay on the current homepage – for orientation for new guests. I think Ms. Carvalho’s decision to stop offering through platforms that work with commissions and where you have to store credit card data is right. By the way, we will be going back to Salema in the summer of 2018 – it’s already booked! And in direct contact everything was very simple.
